About me

I am an artist and designer in south-central Texas. With over 16 years of experience as an in-house, jack-of-all-trades designer, plus free-lance experience, I have at least temporarily retired to focus on mental health and reinventing myself. While I am focusing on personal skills to mitigate mental illness and severe short-term memory damage (incurred to treat that illness), I am also reassessing what my long-term goals are and who I want to be. I'm also taking time to extend my education to both refine and expand my skills along my journey to try to find my true passion.

I am not currently taking on commissions and outside projects.

For fun, I am finally exploring Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels as I rediscover my love of reading. I also like to wrestle with my 50-60 pound fur babies and repeatedly violate my husband's territory with googly eyes and inappropriate sticky notes. I have what I've been told is an odd fondness for inserting squirrels into movie posters. (I personally don't see what's odd about it. They just...belong.) I enjoy writing and have started several stories I may never finish, except for one: a short children's story that may well never see the light of publication, as it seemed to have a questionable effect on a dear cousin, who happens to be a pastor. Current projects include repressing the urge to "enhance" my love's prized photo from his racing days and trying desperately to remember what I was supposed to add to my reminder app just now.
